Payer Industries Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations on shift, ensuring schedule adherence, quality, and cost targets. The role covers multi-line assembly, testing, and quality assurance.
You will review performance, coordinate staff, forecast costs, train teams, implement SOPs, and drive continuous improvements. A Diploma/Degree in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing are preferred.

Responsible to direct, plan and coordinates manufacturing operations performed in shift or group of production lines, ensuring production schedule, quality and cost goals.
Reviews daily/regularly production performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies/quality.
Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged areas of production department; multi-level assembly, electronic system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Confers with management, product engineering, manufacturing, quality to determine manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
Reviews and establishes manpower resource requirement.
Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
Train production group during lunching of new product and to ensure efficient production methods.
Train & coach supervisor and manufacturing specialist.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance of standards.
Continuously develop and seek new process that improve quality, productivity and cost.
Execute Engineering changes (EC/ECN) and documentation for products.
Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions related to the Production Department to improve processes, ensure consistency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

1. Required a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience and training.
2. Previous experience working at Production.
3. Proficiency in MS Office.
4. Meticulous, analytical, and organized person.
5. More than 5 years’, preferably in manufacturing environment.
