Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to strengthen production and quality systems. You will work with production planning and maintenance to optimize processes, ensure adherence to work instructions, and minimize defects and waste.

You will also manage IATF/ISO documentation, participate in safety and environmental programs, and contribute to APQP projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for a hands-on role in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering ( Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial / Chemistry / Polymer Science / Physics ) or equivalent.
• IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge or training.
• IATF System Documentation knowledge.
• IATF Internal Quality Audit training.
• Knowledge of FMEA and problem solving techniques.
• Total Quality Management knowledge (QCC, KAIZEN, QIT, 5S).
• At least 1 year experience; fresh graduates considered.
• English & Bahasa Malaysia literacy; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• ERP system knowledge is preferred.
• Project management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production planning in daily production schedule.
• Collaborate with maintenance to keep machinery in good condition and productive.
• Monitor daily production; ensure work instructions and formulations meet requirements to minimize defects and waste.
• Monitor and analyze rejection, wastage and efficiency to meet targets.
• Implement improvements in operation line related to rejection, wastage and efficiency.
• Maintain and update IATF 16949 documentation and ensure staff use latest documents.
• Update or create new SOPs, Lessons Learned and Machine Settings.
• Troubleshoot production processes with QA for quality defect investigations.
• Prepare drawings for machine tooling, factory layout or related items in drawing format.
• Involve in new projects and support APQP documentation.
• Participate in Safety & Health Committee activities.
• Participate in ISO 14001 activities and related documentation.

1. To work closely with production planning in daily production schedule.

2. To work closely with maintenance team to ensure machinery are maintained in good conditions and are productively utilized.

3. To monitor daily production process, batching to ensure work instructions and formulations are strictly adhered to minimize defects, wastage and delayed of products.

4. To monitor and analyze all the rejection, wastage & efficiency for daily production. Also to ensure all the result will be achieving the target.

5. To implement more improvement in operation line especially related with rejection, wastage & efficiency.

6. Responsible for all document related with IATF 16949 and update it follow any new added or changes item. Also to ensure all production member using latest document in daily production.

7. Responsible to update or create new Standard Operation Procedure, Lesson Learn and Machine Setting.

8. To troubleshoot the production process and work closely with QA Department in any product quality defects investigation.

9. To prepare drawing for machine tooling, factory layout or others item that related and need to in drawing format. 10. Involve in all new projects and also support in related document for APQP Team.

11. Participant as a Safety & Health Committee and involve any Safety activities.

12. Participant in ISO 14001 activities and prepare for all related document.

Job Requirements

• Preferable in Degree/Diploma in Science / Engineering ( Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Chemistry / Polymer Science / Physics ) or equivalent.
• Training or knowledge on IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO/IEC 17025
• Training or knowledge on IATF System Documentation
• Training on IATF Internal Quality Audit
• Knowledge of Auto Cad, FMEA & Problem solving
• Training or Knowledge in Problem Solving (Root Cause Analysis, 7QC Tools)
• Training or Knowledge in Total Quality Management (QCC, KAIZEN, QIT, 5S)
• At least 1 year working experience in related field.
• Fresh graduates are considered
• Able to converse and write in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Training or Knowledge in ERP system
• Project management skills, good communication skills and computer literate
