Job summary

Perusahaan Getah Asas in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Process Improvement professional to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will analyze processes, drive cost reductions, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, proficiency with Excel, Minitab, and Power BI, and experience in a manufacturing environment. Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement roles.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis using tools including Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Experience in project management and change management is a plus.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory movements, replacements, and stock reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly and daily production plans, monitor output against targets, and allocate manpower effectively.
• Coordinate daily requirements with Compounding, QA, Laboratory, and Plant Engineering & Maintenance.
• Monitor production output, machine uptime, line speed, process parameters, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure sufficient raw materials and monitor daily usage of gas, electricity, and water.
• Monitor DPM/AQL, investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/improvement actions.
• Monitor sorting output and ensure gloves are properly prepared for QA testing, scrapping, or lower-grade sales.
• Report equipment issues, inspect lines after preventive maintenance, and support root cause investigations.
• Prepare audit documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety, social compliance, environmental, and production requirements.
• Investigate and close customer complaints with QA and drive continuous improvement to reduce complaints.

Former Management: Monitor former inventory, movements, replacements, and stock reconciliation.

Production Planning: Prepare monthly and daily production plans, monitor output against targets, and allocate manpower effectively.
