Job summary

VAM Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Property Executive to join its HQ-based team in Petaling Jaya. You will manage residential properties, handle tenant relations, and coordinate maintenance while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

The role requires inter-state travel with allowances, and you will be responsible for inspections, reporting, viewings, and lease administration to uphold the company’s reputation for reliable property management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian property management regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and property management software.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple properties and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
• Flexibility to undertake property viewings outside standard hours.
• Relevant certification or diploma in property management or real estate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections and prepare detailed reports on property condition.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs, obtain contractor quotes and oversee service delivery.
• Prepare and maintain property documentation, rental agreements and tenant records.
• Conduct viewings for prospective tenants and assist with leasing processes.
• Ensure compliance with tenancy laws, regulations and company policies.
• Liaise between landlords and tenants to resolve disputes and maintain relationships.
• Monitor lease agreements, renewal dates and rental payments.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance and occupancy rates.
