Real Project Management is seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager in Malaysia to lead hotel, hospitality, commercial building and data centre projects. You will oversee all phases from planning to handover, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring schedule, budget and quality compliance across mission-critical facilities.
The role requires at least 10 years in construction, strong leadership, and proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Proven experience in managing Hotel, Hospitality, Commercial Building, and Data Centre Construction Projects.
Strong leadership capabilities in overseeing large-scale projects from planning, construction, testing & commissioning through to handover.
Experience managing clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Familiarity with mission-critical facilities, MEP systems, and hotel operational requirements will be highly advantageous.
Lead, plan, manage, and oversee all aspects of project execution to ensure successful delivery of hotel and data centre construction projects.
Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate and supervise project teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery and timely completion.
Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, procurement activities, and cash flow requirements.
Ensure all construction works are properly sequenced, coordinated, and integrated across architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems.
Monitor project progress against key milestones and implement corrective actions to address delays, technical issues, and project risks.
Lead progress meetings, technical coordination meetings, contractor meetings, and client meetings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
Review and manage variation orders, project claims, contractual matters, change management processes, and commercial issues.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, environmental standards, company policies, and project governance procedures.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, defect rectification, and final handover activities to ensure operational readiness and client satisfaction.
Prepare weekly and monthly project reports, including progress updates, budget status, risk assessments, quality performance, and key management recommendations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction industry with proven experience managing Hotel, Hospitality, Commercial Building, or Data Centre Projects.
Demonstrated experience in leading medium to large-scale projects from project initiation through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, contract administration, construction methodologies, cost control, and risk management.
Experience managing consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Experience in luxury hotel developments, hospitality projects, or international branded hotels will be an added advantage.
Experience in Data Centre construction projects, including critical MEP systems, testing & commissioning, and operational readiness, will be highly preferred.
Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
PMP, PRINCE2, Professional Engineer (PE), or related professional certifications will be an added advantage.
