Job summary

ESD Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead real-world engineering and construction initiatives in Malaysia. You will drive planning, coordination, and supervision across multiple project activities to ensure timely completion within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership to manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, plus effective liaison with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• 5–7 years of working experience in construction industry.
• Experience in handling construction, electrical, M&E, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all project activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Manage project teams including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers with effective communication.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities to manage expectations and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and financial records.
• Attend site meetings and prepare project reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain construction standards.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs to prevent overruns.
• Report project status to senior management and provide strategic recommendations for process improvements

Familiar with project documentation, progress claims, meetings, and reporting.

Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate diverse workforces.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Able to work independently and under pressure.

Possess own transport and willing to travel to site when required.
