Job summary

CCIE Engineering is seeking a proactive Project Management Executive (Chinese) to oversee production, contract fulfillment, and regulatory compliance for domestic projects in Johor Bahru. You will coordinate kick-offs, planning, scheduling, facilities, equipment, labour, and material management, while ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires Mandarin and English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with construction/project coordination/site admin experience have an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English (Mandarin required to liaise with China HQ).
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work overtime on Saturdays when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for project documentation.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Management Executive(Chinese) to take charge of production and contract fulfillment activities for our domestic projects. In this role, you will be the key person ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project kick-off activities, prepare Project Charter, and coordinate project planning sessions.

Develop and compile the Project Planning Book, and oversee the approval of implementation plans and temporary facility designs.

Support project team setup, including site office selection and personnel arrangement.

Manage project opening and closing processes, conduct project wrap-up summaries, and carry out client satisfaction surveys.

Act as the main point of contact to resolve on-site production and coordination issues.

2. Project Schedule & Timeline Monitoring

Assist in formulating and revising schedule management policies; conduct training and ensure policy adherence across teams.

Oversee the project scheduling system, including milestone setup, system approvals, and performance assessments.

Analyse progress reports (e.g., Project Manager Monthly Reports, Daily Site Reports) and issue early warnings for any delays.

Prepare monthly project timeline performance reports; manage schedule extension requests and compile valid delay documentation.

Maintain a centralised complaint log for schedule-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts.

3. Temporary Facilities Management

Participate in the development and communication of temporary facilities management guidelines.

Review and approve temporary facility plans for directly managed projects; supervise the setup process.

Conduct inspections, evaluations, and provide guidance on temporary facility management across subsidiaries and project sites.

Drive the adoption of standardised temporary facilities, including container housing solutions.

4. Equipment & Machinery Management

Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of machinery and measuring equipment for projects in the region.

Organise comprehensive equipment inspections, identify risks, propose corrective actions, and prepare detailed inspection reports.

Maintain and update the central equipment inventory record on a quarterly basis.

5. Labour Compliance & Workforce Management

Supervise and guide project teams on the Real-Name Labour Management System and migrant worker wage payment compliance.

Manage the company's Labour Service Cloud Platform, ensuring proper application and system maintenance.

Coordinate labour risk assessment exercises and assist in resolving labour disputes as needed.

6. On-Site Material Management

Implement and promote company-wide material management policies and standards.

Provide supervision, training, and performance evaluations for project material management teams.

Plan and conduct material management inspections at project sites.

Review material requisition plans and oversee the evaluation, transfer, and disposal of surplus or obsolete materials.

7. General Administration & Compliance

Handle departmental administrative tasks and documentation.

Ensure all activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and QSE (Quality, Safety & Environment) requirements.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department General Manager

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with experience in construction, project coordination, or site administration will have an advantage.

Able to communicate in Mandarin and English (Mandarin is required to liaise with China Headquarters and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
