Job summary

CDM Bina Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Construction Project Executive to coordinate and support construction, renovation, interior fit-out and M&E projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality. You will work with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant construction experience is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good coordination, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic project reporting.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other construction software is an advantage.
• Willing to travel between project sites within Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, safety, and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Attend site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies or site-related issues.
• Prepare progress reports, work programmes, method statements, site records, and project documentation.
• Assist with material submissions, shop drawings, RFIs, inspection requests, and authority submissions.
• Obtain quotations and assist in evaluating suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, variation orders, claims, and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate site inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and defect rectification.
