MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD in Sungai Siput, Perak is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support our construction projects on a full‑time basis. Responsibilities

• Assisting project managers in planning, scheduling and organising project activities and resources.
• Liaising between project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure effective communication.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, contracts, permits and correspondence.
• Coordinating site meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes and action items.
• Monitoring timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure adherence to plans.
• Preparing progress reports and status updates for stakeholders.
• Supporting procurement by coordinating material orders, deliveries and inventory.
• Assisting with health and safety compliance and regulatory documentation.
• Managing administrative tasks including scheduling and data entry.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Project Coordinator to join MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD in Sungai Siput, Perak. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and coordination of construction projects. As Project Coordinator, you will be the vital link between project management, site teams, and stakeholders, ensuring that all project activities run efficiently and within established timelines and budgets. This role is essential to maintaining project quality standards and fostering effective communication across all levels of the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting project managers in planning, scheduling and organising project activities and resources
• Liaising between project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, records and filing systems including contracts, permits and correspondence
• Coordinating site meetings, preparing meeting agendas and documenting minutes and action items
• Monitoring project timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure adherence to project plans
• Preparing progress reports, status updates and performance metrics for project stakeholders
• Supporting the procurement process by coordinating material orders, deliveries and inventory management
• Assisting with health and safety compliance, site inspections and regulatory documentation
• Managing administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence and data entry
• Supporting project closeout activities, including final documentation and lessons learned reviews

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a construction project coordination or similar administrative role within the construction industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay (essential); Mandarin is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
• Knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling and budgeting principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record keeping
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and liaise effectively with various stakeholders
• Problem‑solving mindset and proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements
