Job summary

Tenpower Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure targets are met, and uphold quality, safety, and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role requires leading production staff, coordinating with maintenance, and driving continuous improvement, 5S, and accurate reporting on the production line.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet production targets and schedules.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Lead, guide, and monitor production operators and technicians on the production floor.
• Ensure proper work allocation, manpower planning, and shift management.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs or troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production reports, including output, downtime, and rejection rates.
• Implement continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Train and develop production staff to improve skills and performance.
• Ensure proper 5S and housekeeping practices in the production area.

Job Summary

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage production deadlines.
• Willing to work shift schedules when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or automated production lines.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
• Familiar with production planning and reporting systems.
