Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production planning and control professional with 2+ years in manufacturing. You will ensure daily planning, accurate line conversions with minimal scrap, and record daily output and rejects for reporting.

The role requires knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and strict adherence to PPEs, time management, and company regulations on the shop floor. You will support the operations team and perform ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Experinces more than 2 years in manufacturing and production planning control.
• Knowledge in quality management system such as ISO 9001 or other quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Record the daily output and rejects based on individual production lines and pass it to the production administrative for the daily report.
• Ensure daily work arrangement is done in the beginning of the shift according to the daily planning.
• Maintain PPE compliance, proper time management, and adherence to company regulations on the floor.
• Manage stock of raw materials and packing consumables; liaise with the production executive on material requests.
• Ensure finished goods meet specifications; liaise with QC on non-conformances and escalate as needed.
• Carry out reject segregation, weighing, recording, and cutting at the end of the shift.
• Conduct daily toolbox briefing with workers, technicians, and supervisors on goals and targets.
• Liaise with production supervisor on machine breakdowns and quality issues for immediate resolution.
• Perform random inspections on finished goods for appearance and dimensions; segregate rejects if found.
• Ensure correct method of pipe packing is used and record a finished goods count before shift end.
• Assist Operation Executive and Production Supervisor in their absence and handle ad-hoc tasks.

• Ensure Daily work arrangement done in the beginning of the shift according to the daily planning.
• Responsible to ensure the line conversions are done accurately & with minimal scrap.
• To record the daily output & rejects based on indiviual production lines & pass it to the production administrative to be updated in the daily report.
• Ensure overall workers to adheres to the company rules & regulations in terms of PPEs, smoking & time managements.
• Responsible to ensure sufficient stock of raw material, & packing consumables on the production floor, liaise with the production executive on material request.
• To ensure the finished goods produced are in specs with no non conformance escapees. Liaise with QC leader on non conformances, escalates to manager if needed.
• To carry out reject segregation, weigh, record & cut at the end of the same shift.
• To conduct daily Tool Box briefing with General Workers, technicians & supervisors as to remind of company goals, regulations, target and mission.
• To escape or liaise with production supervisor in terms of machine breakdown & quality related issues & ensure the issues are being solved immediately.
• To carry out random inspection for finish good, in terms of appearance, & dimensions, segregate the rejects if found.
• Responsible to ensure the correct method of the pipe packing are being used.
• To carry out finished good physical count & record prior to each end of shift.
• To assist Operation Executive and Production Supervisor in the absence, leave or other matters related not presence nor not available within vicinity of the factory.
• To carry out any Ad-Hoc assignment or other responsibilities from time to time assigned by the superior.
