Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Penang. You will supervise attendance, discipline, and housekeeping while ensuring SOP compliance and production targets are met.

You will coordinate with QA, provide operator training, prepare daily production reports, and optimize output timing. Knowledge of ISO, QMS, EMS & FDA is valued; English, Malay and Chinese language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• SMT experience required.
• Knowledge of ISO, QMS, EMS & FDA beneficial.
• Fluent in English, Malay and Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise attendance and discipline of operators.
• Maintain good housekeeping in production area.
• Assign jobs to operators and ensure SOP adherence.
• Ensure product quality, quantity and timely output.
• Coordinate with QA and issue inspection requisitions.
• Provide training to operators.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Monitor daily output against schedule to meet efficiency targets.
• Display SOPs for reference and ensure correctness.
• Identify and label W.I.P properly during production.
• Protect environment during daily tasks.
• Handle material returns and over-requests.
• Reduce production line mistakes.
• Instruct operators on SOPs and work instructions.
• Oversee line changeover activities.
• Ensure ES.D. procedures are followed at all times.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on production issues.

Supervise attendance and discipline of operators.

Ensure good housekeeping in production area.

Assign job to production operators & ensure he/she are comprehension with SOP & operation been practiced.

Ensure products quality, quantity and production output timing.

Liaise with QA department & issue inspection requisition form to QA once upon completion of production.

Transfer operators to different job station, if necessary.

Provide training to operators.

Prepare daily production report.

Monitor daily output according to schedule & ensure production efficiency is met.

Responsible to display S.O.P for operator to refer & to ensure S.O.P. is correct for the work station.

Ensure all products are meet quality requirements.

Ensure that all W.I.P. are properly identified during production.

Must help to protect the environment during performance of their daily job.

Carry out material return and material over request.

Reduce operation mistake on production line.

Instruct operation method to production operators SOP, work instructions and procedures.

Perform checking during line change over.

Responsible to ensure E.S.D. procedure be follow and maintain all the times.

Feedback to supervisor if facing any production problem.

Requirements:

Minimum at least 3 years of education in secondary level or its equivalent to 1.5 years' experience in manufacturing operations.

Must have SMT experience.

Have basic knowledge in ISO, QMS, EMS & FDA.

Possess good leadership skills, good working attitude, proactive & dedicated person.

Good in spoken & writing in English, Malay & Chinese.
