Mywisehome Sdn Bhd in Kamunting, Perak is seeking a Production Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a full-time role. You will lead production teams, drive planning and scheduling, monitor schedules, ensure quality and safety compliance, and implement improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.

The role emphasizes a safety-conscious culture, responsive issue resolution, and collaboration with planning teams to optimize resources and material availability.

About the role We are seeking a Production Leader to join Mywisehome Sdn Bhd in a full-time capacity at our Kamunting, Perak facility. This is a strategic leadership position within our Production, Planning and Scheduling function, where you will oversee daily production operations and ensure our manufacturing processes run efficiently and safely. As Production Leader, you will be instrumental in driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement across the production floor whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily production operations, ensuring targets are met and deadlines are adhered to

Supervise and coordinate production teams, providing direction, support and motivation to achieve operational objectives

Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime

Ensure all production processes comply with quality standards and safety regulations

Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs

Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings to maintain a safety-conscious culture on the production floor

Liaise with planning and scheduling teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and material availability

Track and report on key performance indicators including production output, quality metrics and safety records

Train and develop production team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Address production issues promptly and elevate concerns to senior management when required

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a similar industry environment

Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and manufacturing processes

Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly

Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices

Proficiency in interpreting production data and using it to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with teams at all levels

Experience with production planning software or manufacturing execution systems is advantageous

A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and operational excellence

Relevant qualifications or certifications in production management or manufacturing engineering would be beneficial
