Job summary

SICK SDN BHD is seeking a Production Supervisor to organize and schedule manufacturing activities in Malaysia, ensuring orders are completed on plan and delivered on time. The role involves quality compliance, issue resolution with process/quality engineers, and cost optimization.

You will motivate operators, provide training, and lead line leaders while coordinating with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in production or engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience as production supervisor / coordinator.
• Good analytical ability and problem-solving.
• Organized, independent and team player.
• Willing to take the challenges.

Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule production activities to meet orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance to quality standards and requirements.
• Resolve quality issues and improve product reliability with process and quality engineers.
• Optimize production methods, manpower and materials to reduce wastage and costs.
• Motivate operators and technicians to maintain productivity and quality.
• Provide regular training and coaching to enhance capability and performance.
• Maintain discipline and good housekeeping practices.
• Monitor productivity, yield and scrap costs and ensure targets are met.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep production running smoothly.
• Lead line leaders and assistant supervisors; report to Production Manager.

Job description

Organize & schedule production activities to ensure manufacturing orders are completed as plan and timely delivery of goods to customer

Ensure compliance to quality standard and requirements

To resolve quality issues & improve product reliability together with process engineer and quality engineer

Optimize production methods, man & material to reduce wastage and reduce cost

Motivate production operators and technicians to perform efficiently & consistently to achieve good productivity and good quality

Provide regular training & coaching to operators & technicians to enhance their capability and performance

Maintain discipline and good housekeeping practice

Monitor and ensure on all production productivity & yield & scrap cost all met in all time

Work closely with other departments to ensure production is run smoothly

Lead a group of line leaders, assistant supervisors

Report to Production Manager

Your Qualification:

Minimum a diploma or certificate in production or engineering discipline

Minimum 3 years’ experience as production supervisor / coordinator in production

Good analytical ability and problem-solving skill needed

Organized, independent and team player

Willing to take the challenges
