Job summary

Phabritek Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Production Line Leader to oversee daily production planning and scheduling, drive target achievement, monitor yield, and manage on-site safety and 6S discipline.

You will lead a team, optimize manpower, coordinate with quality and maintenance, and implement cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring process compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SKM Level 3 / Diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering required.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin language will be an added advantage.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage manpower in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production to meet targets.
• Monitor yield rate and address fluctuations and abnormalities.
• Lead team inspections to ensure delivery, quality, safety and on-site requirements.
• Control production costs and drive cost reductions across materials and supplies.
• Guide employees to follow processes, supervise 6S, labor discipline, and personal conduct.
• Lead improvement initiatives focused on output delivery, quality and quantity.

Job description

Responsible for daily production planning and scheduling, achieving and monitoring production targets, managing personnel efficiency, and in-process product management for production delivery.

Responsible for monitoring the yield rate of each production process, promptly identifying and addressing fluctuations and abnormalities in the yield rate.

Responsible for conducting team inspections to ensure that team requirements (delivery, quality, safety, on-site) and key control points are executed as required.

Responsible for controlling product production costs and managing cost reduction in various aspects such as raw materials, auxiliary materials, small parts and supplies consumption.

Responsible for guiding employees to produce according to processes and production procedures, supervising and managing employees in terms of process discipline, on-site 6S, labor discipline, personal emotions, etc.

Responsible for leading improvement initiatives within the scope includingfocusingon output delivery, quality and quantity.

Requirements

At least SKM Level 3/Diploma or above in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin language will be an added advantage.

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, able to manage manpower and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Proficient in using computers, MS Office software, and other commonly used computer software.

Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
