Job summary

Sinergia Talents is seeking a Production Team Lead in Johor Bahru to steer daily production, ensure OSHA-compliant safety, and oversee material flow. You will manage inventory for machine parts and consumables, assist in layout planning, and coordinate with safety committees to uphold Malaysian regulations.

A strong English/Mandarin communicator with a hands-on attitude is essential. You will also train staff on equipment use, maintain process documentation, and drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in planning and fabrication in office and production areas.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin in writing and speech.
• Good problem-solving skills and independent work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team and manage daily production work and safety.
• Ensure safety rules and guidelines are followed on the floor.
• Keep track of materials, tools and inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain factory cleanliness and running efficiency.
• Manage incoming shipment of materials with accurate receiving.
• Produce and file production process documentation.
• Coordinate with Safety and Environmental Committee on policies.
• Train workers on safety usage of equipment and PPE.
• Review factory layout and assist in facility repairs and maintenance.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Conduct regular team meetings on safety, quality, and operations.
• Address Wi-Fi or connection issues and perform ad-hoc duties.

Job description

To lead theteam in the factory. You will help manage daily production work, make sure safety rulesare followed, keep track of materials and tools, and help keep the factory clean andrunning smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Production

• Supervising of production team in production processes and working environment safety management.
• Manage the productivity & efficiency of the production team and assist them to meet their working goals.
• Ensure that workers are in compliance with the safety rules and guidelines.
• Hygiene checks on factory working environment.
• Manage incoming shipment of materials to ensure proper receiving and accuracy of the materials quantity.
• Inventory management for machine spare parts and consumable inventory (for staff use).
• Procurement and tracking of factory consumables.

• Production teams productivity to the management.
• Materials shipment progress

• Production process documentation and filing.
• Liaised with the Safety and Environmental Committee on safety and environmental policies to ensure compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974).
• Training of workers on safety usage of equipment, PPEs and compliance with safety guidelines in the factory.
• Coordinated with the Competent Person/OSH Coordinator to organize safety and environmental training sessions and drills for staff.
• Applied safety and environmental policies, along with standard operating procedures (SOPs), to promote a safe working environment on the production floor while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Building Management

• Assist in review and plan factory lay-out.
• Support in Company including factory, lab and office facilities repair and maintenance.

4. Team Management

• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Conduct regular team meetings to address safety, quality, and operational issues.

5. Administrative

• Address and resolve any Wi-Fi or connection issues as needed.
• Perform any additional duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.

Job Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years experience in performing planning, fabrication works in office and production area.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Able to communicate and write with both English & Mandarin.
