Job summary

S&L BEVERAGES MARKETING SDN BHD is seeking a hands-on production supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing floor activities, ensuring targets are met with quality and safety in mind.

You will lead a team, monitor quality, coordinate with procurement and QA, and maintain accurate records while driving continuous improvement and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control systems and health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using production management systems and basic IT skills.
• Fluency in English, Malay and Mandarin; proficiency in other local languages is advantageous.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to work shift patterns including weekends when required.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve production issues promptly, escalating complex problems to senior management when necessary
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production logs, quality reports and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with other departments, including quality assurance, maintenance and logistics, to ensure seamless operations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and arrange repairs to minimise downtime
