Job summary

Bee Lian Plastic Industries Bhd in Senai, Johor seeks a Production Coordinator to coordinate and optimise our production processes. This full-time role requires coordinating schedules, monitoring activities, and liaising with purchasing, QC and logistics to meet targets and customer demands.

You will analyse production data, support continuous improvement, and help develop SOPs while guiding staff to enhance skills and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in production coordination/planning, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making in changing situations.

About the role We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our dynamic Manufacturing team at Bee Lian Plastic. In this full-time position based in Senai, Johor, you will play a key role in coordinating and optimising our production processes to ensure we meet our operational targets and customer demands.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement production schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity
• Monitor production activities and address any issues or bottlenecks to keep operations running smoothly
• Liaise with various departments, including purchasing, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination
• Analyse production data and generate insightful reports to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
• Assist in the development and maintenance of production-related standard operating procedures
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a production coordination or planning role, preferable in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and respond quickly to changes
• Proficient in using production planning and tracking software, as well as data analysis tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
