Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production planning professional to implement best practices in production planning and administrative support, manage orders, schedule production, ensure material availability, and coordinate shipments.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, 1–3 years in production planning, proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP familiarity, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related role (fresh graduates encouraged).
• Good understanding of production planning, MPS, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices and standards in production planning and administrative support.
• Manage incoming orders, including processing, production planning, scheduling, monitoring, rescheduling, and closure of job orders.
• Ensure material availability to meet production requirements and delivery timelines.
• Respond to customer enquiries, including pull-in and push-out requests.
• Review and revise the Master Production Schedule (MPS) when necessary.
• Create new Job Orders (JO) and arrange material re-issuance for variances reported via forms.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements and provide proof of delivery as agreed.
• Perform monthly consignment billing activities.
• Manage customer forecasts and execute build plans under programs to prevent shortages.
• Support achievement of company sales targets (incoming and outgoing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.

• Implement best practices and standards in production planning and administrative support.
• Manage incoming orders, including processing, production planning, scheduling, monitoring, rescheduling, and closure of job orders.
• Ensure material availability to meet production requirements and delivery timelines.
• Respond to customer enquiries, including pull-in and push-out requests.
• Review and revise the Master Production Schedule (MPS) when necessary.
• Create new Job Orders (JO) and arrange material re-issuance for variances reported via NCPR/pink forms.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements and provide proof of delivery based on agreed terms.
• Perform monthly consignment billing activities.
• Manage customer forecasts and execute build plans under SMI programs to prevent shortages.
• Support the achievement of company sales targets (incoming and outgoing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BAM, Purchasing, Production, QA, and others to meet operational goals.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Good understanding of production planning, MPS, and inventory control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to handle changes in schedule and priorities.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
