Job summary

BACCUS SDN BHD is seeking a Procurement Senior Executive to assist in managing purchasing activities, coordinating with suppliers, customs and internal departments. You will source materials, compare quotations, prepare POs and ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.

Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience is preferred. Strong Excel/Word skills, fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement preferred.
• Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, spare parts and consumables according to company requirements.
• Source, evaluate and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable product specifications.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, availability and delivery schedules.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure materials are received on time.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, product specifications, availability, quality and delivery arrangements.
• Follow up on back orders, shortages, damaged or incorrect items.
• Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, supplier information and related documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Accounts, Warehouse and Production teams to coordinate purchasing requirements.

The Procurement Senior Executive will assist in managing the company's purchasing activities and work closely with suppliers, customs and internal departments. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, comparing quotations, preparing Purchase Orders (PO), coordinating import-related matters and following up on orders and delivery schedules to ensure materials are available on time.

Key responsibilities

Source and purchase materials, equipment, spare parts and consumables according to company requirements.

Source, evaluate and maintain good relationships with suppliers.

About you

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement is preferred.

Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience is preferred.

Candidates with experience in import/export, customs clearance and dealing with forwarding agents will have an advantage.

Experience in food, flavour, manufacturing, engineering or industrial-related industries is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.

Organized, responsible, detail-oriented and able to follow up independently.

Willing to learn and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
