Job summary

Talent Recruit seeks a Senior Procurement Executive in Kuala Lumpur to lead procurement initiatives for a group of F&B companies. You will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with policies while coordinating with finance and operations to meet business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, and strong English and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain in F&B.
• Experience with inventory control and procurement planning.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Good communication in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements for favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement planning with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations and ethical sourcing standards.
• Manage vendor relationships with performance evaluations and risk assessments.
• Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to align procurements with business objectives.
• Prepare procurement reports for Finance Manager and CFO.
• Record stock receipts in the POS system for accurate inventory tracking.

We are representing a group of companies specializing in the Food & Beverage industry. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking experienced Senior Procurement Executives to join their growing team based in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement planning with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations and ethical sourcing standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, conducting performance evaluations and risk assessments.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurements with business objectives.
• Prepare procurements reports to the Finance Manager and CFO.
• Key in stock into the POS system upon receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum with a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance orrelevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management in F&B industries.
• Experienced with inventory control and procurement planning.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Good communication skill in English & Mandarin (Due to business nature)

Working Hour:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am 6:00pm
