Job summary

CARSOME Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized Assistant Manager, Purchasing to supervise inspection and procurement operations across multiple channels. You will manage manpower, assign leads in real-time, and ensure fast, accurate transactions for vehicles.

The role requires 3–5 years in related automotive fields, strong leadership, and negotiation skills to hit monthly procurement KPIs while maintaining high customer satisfaction. 6-day work weeks, retail/branch setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive procurement, sales management, or branch operations.
• Proven ability to supervise a frontline team and manage performance metrics under pressure.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasive skills within retail automotive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower scheduling for inspectors across BST, NCD Corp, B2B and Website to ensure 100% coverage.
• Distribute leads to inspectors in real time and enforce turnaround time and SLA adherence.
• Monitor throughput and reassign tasks to keep inspection times within 20–35 minutes during peak periods.
• Lead post-inspection negotiations to secure vehicle purchases and hit monthly procurement KPIs.
• Drive daily follow-ups with pending customers to improve deal conversion and bidding participation.
• Coordinate post-bidding communications and handoffs with the BST team for smooth transactions.
• Consolidate weekly reports for the TCA team with 100% data accuracy in inspection outcomes.
