Job summary

CARSOME Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized Assistant Manager, Purchasing to supervise inspection and procurement operations. You will manage manpower, distribute leads in real time, and drive negotiations to close vehicle purchases while hitting KPIs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with BST for appointments, ensuring 100% coverage, and maintaining accurate weekly reports. Candidates should have 3–5 years in automotive procurement or related fields and be prepared for a demanding retail

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive procurement, sales management, or branch operations.
• Proven ability to supervise a frontline team and manage performance metrics in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills within the retail automotive sector.
• Proficient in tracking operational metrics and managing scheduling tools; interpret data to improve daily output.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to align with internal stakeholders (BST, TCA, B2C) and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to work 6 days a week, including weekends, in a retail/branch-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower scheduling for inbound and outbound inspectors across channels to ensure 100% operational coverage.
• Distribute leads to inspectors in real time and monitor progress to ensure SLA adherence.
• Lead post-inspection negotiations to secure vehicle purchases and hit monthly procurement KPIs.
• Coordinate with BST team to secure appointment slots and seamless handoffs.
• Maintain weekly performance reporting for accuracy across inspection reports.
• Assist with rapid car value estimations to expedite customer decisions and improve conversion rates.
