Job summary

CARSOME Sdn Bhd, a Southeast Asia leader in used car e-commerce, seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead the inspection workforce, optimize manpower planning, and drive high-volume transactions. You will oversee inbound and outbound inspector scheduling, website funnel management, and post-inspection negotiations to secure deals.

The role requires exceptional negotiation, people leadership, and the ability to deliver weekly performance insights in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive procurement, sales management, or branch operations.
• Proven track record managing large teams of inspectors or frontline staff.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills for high-value retail deals.
• Ability to track metrics, manage scheduling spreadsheets, and produce weekly reports.
• Excellent communication with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and manage daily manpower schedules for inspectors to ensure 100% coverage.
• Promptly assign new leads to inspectors and monitor progress to meet TAT and SLA.
• Oversee website-generated funnel and educate customers on inspection process.
• Lead post-inspection negotiations to secure vehicle purchases and meet procurement targets.
• Manage bidding communications and coordinate with BST for appointments.
• Produce weekly performance reports and ensure data accuracy for inspection reports.
• Support rapid car value estimations to aid customer decisions.
