Job summary

CLPS RiDiK in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Procurement Operations Specialist for a 1-year contract to manage end-to-end procurement activities and grow client relationships in the Kuala Lumpur market.

You will handle requisitions, POs, RFx support, vendor onboarding, contract administration, and data-based procurement improvements, collaborating with finance and other departments to ensure compliance and efficiency. English is essential, Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance procurement or purchasing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end procurement processes (P2P, source-to-contract).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Operations Specialist to manage and grow client relationships in the Kuala Lumpur market under a 1 year contract (subjected to extension for a year).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the global organization with the end-to-end procurement operational process, including procure-to-pay (P2P) activities.
• Manage and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist with the vendor onboarding process.
• Support sourcing events, including RFx (Request for Proposal/Quotation/Information) preparation and coordination.
• Provide administrative support for contract management, ensuring proper storage and tracking of agreements.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on procurement process inquiries and provide guidance and support.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of procurement systems, tools, and documentation (e.g., SOPs, trackers).
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting on procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation and adherence to procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to resolve payment and other P2P-related issues.
• Support the budget reconciliation process to enable more accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
• Other tasks as assigned on an ad hoc basis to support the procurement function.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an finance procuring/ purchasing background.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good understanding of end-to- end procurement processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, source-to-contract).
• Experience with procurement software (e.g., Oracle Fusion ERP) is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Able to converse, read, understand, and type Mandarin.
• Able to multi-task effectively, strong organisational skills and detail-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Proactive, robust, pleasant, team player, with strong communication skills and strong sense of responsibility.
