Job summary

RiDiK is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to support global liquidity and reporting initiatives. You will reconcile cash and banking transactions, build reports, and interact with stakeholders across Finance, Customer Service, and Products.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data accuracy, and availability of multilingual communication in English and Chinese to support mainland Chinese customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above; 2+ years in operations or customer service; payments/banking/FX background preferred.
• Experience in reconciliation in cash and banking preferred.

• Perform transaction and settlement reconciliation, investigate breaks and clean up to ensure timely processing.
• Monitor end-to-end client transaction lifecycle, handle inquiries, detect exceptions and liaise with Finance, Customer Service, and Products.
• Assist to build international institutional and merchant service systems to solve problems encountered by customers in their daily business operations.
• Assist to maintain team knowledge base, refine the standard operating procedures; seek process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.

The Role:

We're looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to support our team in Kuala Lumpur. Financial Operations team aims to deliver operation excellence through reconciles cash accounts, builds reports and dashboards, flags discrepancies and procurement to keep data accurate and manage liquidity to support company business growth across the globe. As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will have extensive interaction with the global business stakeholders and closely partner other operations teams internationally.

1. Perform transaction and settlement reconciliation, investigate and clean up breaks, to ensure transactions processed and settled within standard timeline.


2. Monitor end-to-end client transaction lifecycle, handle enquiries, detect exceptions from data reports and dashboard in a timely manner, assist to communicate with team and other departments of Finance, Customer Service, and Products to handle issues.


3. Assist to build international institutional and merchant service systems to solve problems encountered by customers in their daily business operations.


4. Assist to maintain team knowledge base, refine the standard operating procedures. Can seek process inefficiencies and implements scalable and elegant solutions to improve the process automation.

1. Bachelor degree or above, more than two years experience in operation team or customer services. Payment industry, banking, foreign exchange, and other related background experience is preferred.


2. Experience in reconciliation in cash and banking preferred.


3. Strong communication skills and customer service consciousness are required.


4. Attention to details is a must. Ability to rapidly understand new products, goal/results oriented and stress resistant.


5. Good reading and writing skills in both English and Chinese, able to adapt to a working environment in both languages as team is facing projects involved with mainland Chinese customers.


6. Experience with MS Office; technical skillset of VBA, SQL, Python, and BI visualization tools is a plus.
