Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks Mandarin-speaking Procurement Buyers to join our team at KL Sentral. You will handle procurement activities, purchase orders, vendor coordination and order fulfilment processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field, at least 2 years of procurement experience, and is fluent in Mandarin and English with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

Job description

We are looking for Mandarin-speaking Procurement Buyers to join our team in KL Sentral. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities, purchase orders, vendor coordination and order fulfilment processes.

Key responsibilities

Handle and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO)

Follow up with vendors on order status and delivery schedules

Monitor and update ETA

Create new parts / item records

Handle price changes and PO adjustments

Coordinate material transfers and follow up on progress

Handle warehouse discrepancies and material-related issues

Prepare and follow up on relevant reports

Coordinate procurement, logistics and fulfilment processes

Communicate with vendors to obtain the latest order status

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 2 years of procurement experience

Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Good coordination, organization and problem-solving skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Able to work independently and under pressure

Detail-oriented, patient and adaptable to business changes

Good negotiation and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience with ERP systems
