Job summary

Resta Enterprise Sdn Bhd (ABARO Shoes) is seeking a motivated Procurement Executive to join our Klang, Selangor team, focusing on sourcing local and overseas suppliers and ensuring timely procurement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate terms, manage supplier relationships, and support inventory planning while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. Mandarin communication is required for overseas suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates welcomed to apply.
• 2–3 years of procurement/purchasing/supply chain experience is advantageous.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Mandarin communication ability is beneficial for liaising with overseas suppliers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities; team player with integrity.
• Experience in international purchasing or consumer products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select local and overseas suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to obtain best value.
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production schedules, shipment status, and delivery timelines.
• Follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to support operations and inventory needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning to minimize shortages and excess.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure deliveries meet PO specs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose process improvements.
• Support new product sourcing, sample coordination, and supplier development.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, ethics, and regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance evaluations.

About the Role

Resta Enterprise Sdn Bhd (ABARO Shoes) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive / Purchasing Executive to join our growing team based in Klang, Selangor.

This is an excellent opportunity for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals who are passionate about procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management. You will play an important role in ensuring the timely procurement of products, materials, and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.

This role involves regular communication with suppliers based in China. Therefore, the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to perform the job effectively.

Working closely with the Procurement Manager and cross-functional teams, you will gain valuable exposure to local and international sourcing, supplier management, inventory planning, and end-to-end procurement operations within one of Malaysia's leading footwear brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select local and overseas suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure deliveries comply with purchase orders and agreed specifications.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers while continuously evaluating supplier performance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Support new product sourcing, sample coordination, and supplier development initiatives.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports, purchasing analysis, and supplier performance evaluations as required.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
