Job summary

IPG Printing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Procurement Executive responsible for end-to-end procurement of machinery, production materials and operational supplies.

You will source, negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders and coordinate outsourced processing with subcontractors to support production planning and optimal inventory levels. The role requires 2–3 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of procurement experience required.
• Experience in production planning or coordinating with production schedules is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent English; Mandarin language skills helpful for liaising with China counterparts/suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of machinery, production materials, and other operational supplies.

• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.

Role Overview

This role manages end-to-end procurement of machinery, production materials, and operational supplies. The incumbent will source and negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and coordinate outsourced product processing with subcontractors. Close collaboration with production, warehouse, and finance teams is required to support production planning and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

1. Manage procurement of machinery, production materials, and other operational supplies.
2. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
3. Issue purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation and records of purchasing activities.
4. Coordinate outsourced processing of company products, including arranging dispatch, delivery, and following up on progress with subcontractors.
5. Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid disruption to production schedules.
6. Work closely with the production team to support production planning and ensure materials availability.
7. Track inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels.
8. Liaise with internal departments such as production, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth procurement operations.
9. Handle procurement-related coordination and administrative matters.

1. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement is preferred.
2. Experience in production planning or coordinating with production schedules will be an added advantage.
3. Good negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
6. Proficiency in English; additional language skill (Mandarin) is helpful for liaising with China counterparts/suppliers.
7. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
