We are looking for a Senior Executive, Purchasing (PPC) to lead and execute purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven material sourcing.
This role will be responsible for supplier management, strategic sourcing, purchasing coordination, cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring smooth material supply to support production continuity.
The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams including Production, Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, QC, Finance, and Store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full purchasing cycle, including RFQ, quotation evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, order follow-up, and delivery coordination.
- Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable supply.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Follow up on material shortages, delivery delays, quality issues, and other supplier-related matters.
- Work closely with Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to maintain appropriate material availability and stock levels.
- Support demand planning and production scheduling by providing visibility on material availability and potential supply risks.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, pricing data, contracts, and related documentation.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, SOPs, ISO requirements, and audit requirements.
- Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare regular purchasing reports and provide relevant analysis to management.
- Support new project requirements, including BOM review, new material sourcing, sample approval, and supplier coordination.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of supplier, customer, and company information and comply with data security and document control requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.
- 3–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table); MRP/AutoCount experience is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking customers and suppliers.
