Job summary

Mynews is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Malaysia to manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including pre-qualifying suppliers, sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and awarding contracts with local and overseas suppliers.

You will monitor and expedite delivery schedules, ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, liaise with stakeholders on sourcing proposals, and address internal needs with timely procurement support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing experience.
• Computer literate and well versed.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in performing procurement functions ranging from pre-qualifying, sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and awarding with local and overseas suppliers.
• Monitoring, expediting and follow up closely on the delivery schedule.
• Ensure procurement operations and workflows comply with regulatory safety and quality requirements.
• Liaise with key stakeholders on modifications to sourcing proposals.
• Ensuring the needs of internal stakeholders are attended.
