Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to support construction projects, mainly warehouse and data centre, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

You will prepare orders, monitor supplier performance, source new suppliers, and maintain records while complying with company policies. Travel to sites or supplier locations will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in procurement, construction management or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in construction.
• Familiar with construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Must own a laptop and be able to travel to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documents.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain procurement records.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating reliability and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
• Support the project team in managing material schedules and supply chain logistics.
• Report procurement status to the Procurement Manager or Project Manager.

Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects, mainly warehouse and data centre projects. Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and review purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and procurement documents.

Monitor and manage supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.

Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their reliability, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements in all procurement activities.

Support the project team in managing material schedules and supply chain logistics.

Report to Procurement Manager or Project Manager on procurement status and updates.

About you

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement, especially in construction projects.

Familiar with construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures in construction.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Must own a laptop.

Able to travel to project sites or supplier locations when necessary.
