Job summary

Grand Venture Technology in Johor seeks an experienced Procurement Executive to manage purchasing and sourcing for sheet metal materials, standard components, machining parts, and subcontracting services.

You will plan and execute procurement activities, source suppliers, maintain BOM accuracy, monitor lead times and pricing, develop new suppliers, and drive cost reduction while ensuring timely deliveries for production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing / sourcing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the sheet metal or machining industry.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of technical and engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and related items.
• Source sheet metal materials, standard components, and machining parts.
• Ensure materials are ordered on time and available to meet production requirements while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Maintain and verify BOM accuracy, material lead times, and pricing in the system.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to meet company requirements.
• Ensure suppliers and contractors are properly registered and assessed according to company policies.
• Conduct supplier visits when required to monitor performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Monitor the cost, delivery schedule, and performance of major subcontractors.
• Drive cost reduction and lead-time improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports and provide updates to Management.
• Maintain and update department SOPs, procedures, and job descriptions.

We are looking for an experienced PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing and sourcing activities, particularly for sheet metal materials, standard components, machining parts, and subcontracting services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and related items.

Source sheet metal materials, standard components, and machining parts.

Ensure materials are ordered on time and available to meet production requirements while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Identify and develop new suppliers to meet company requirements.
