Standard Engineering & Metal Stamping in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Project Administration Executive to support procurement, supplier management, project costing, inventory control, and engineering project documentation activities.
The successful candidate will coordinate procurement processes, maintain accurate records, issue POs, process supplier invoices, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely project execution and operational support.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement & Project Administration Executive to support our Procurement, supplier management, project costing, inventory control, and engineering project documentation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely support for project and operational requirements.
Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, and business requirements.
Compare supplier quotations and prepare Procurement recommendations.
Manage supplier and customer documentation, including temporary and supporting documents where required.
Prepare project costing, quotations, and related commercial documentation.
Maintain and update engineering project records and documentation.
Monitor inventory levels, particularly tools and project-related items, and prepare stock reports.
Create and maintain supplier accounts in the Procurement system.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and in a timely manner.
Process and monitor supplier invoices, credit notes, and related Procurement documents.
Coordinate with suppliers, project teams, engineering, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth Procurement and project activities.
Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferably with relevant experience in Procurement, project administration, or inventory management.
Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience using Procurement, inventory, or ERP systems will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Able to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with different departments.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages will be an advantage.
