Job summary

CB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd is looking for a diligent Purchasing/Procurement professional to join our team in Malaysia. You will handle daily purchasing activities, source quotations, prepare POs, and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to support operational goals.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you will monitor supplier performance, run market research, and manage relationships to ensure reliable supply and cost-effective procurement aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality, food service management, business, or related field.
• Relevant experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities and procurement requirements.
• Source, obtain, and compare quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organisational goals.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations.
• Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
