Job summary

CB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional to manage daily purchasing activities, source quotations, and issue Purchase Orders. You will negotiate contracts, align procurement with company goals, and build long-term supplier partnerships.

Ideal candidates have diploma/bachelor’s in hospitality, food service management or related fields, with relevant purchasing experience and excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business, or related field.
• Relevant working experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities and procurement requirements.
• Source, obtain, and compare quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organisational goals.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations.
• Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
