Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive to support purchasing activities, liaise with suppliers, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will optimize procurement workflows using catering software and assist in import/export coordination to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of procurement experience in retail/wholesale.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience in retail/wholesale.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL.
• Experience with import/export procedures and customs regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve issues.
• Verify invoices against received goods and coordinate with accounts for payments.
• Compare supplier prices and provide cost analysis reports to the manager.
• Maintain procurement records and generate management reports.
• Handle import/export processes, including logistics coordination and customs documentation.
• Negotiate container pricing and advise management on cost-effective options.
• Coordinate with outlets, sales team, warehouse and overseas suppliers.
• Monitor stock availability, incoming shipments and backorders.
• Handle defective claims and related documentation with supplier.

Key responsibilities

About you
