CB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional in Malaysia to manage daily purchasing activities and procurement requirements. You will source, obtain, and compare quotations from suppliers and prepare Purchase Orders (POs).

Negotiation with suppliers is key to favourable pricing and terms. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, conduct market research, and foster long-term supplier partnerships to support company goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business, or related field.
• Relevant working experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities and procurement requirements.
• Source, obtain, and compare quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organisational goals.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations.
• Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
