Job summary

World Prominence Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage supplier relationships and streamline purchasing in a fast-paced environment in Malaysia. You will oversee procurement planning, PO issuance and inventory control across materials and packaging while ensuring food safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers for raw materials, packaging and other supplies.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Plan material requirements and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery and material quality.
• Manage inventory, including stock-in, stock-out, FIFO/FEFO and stock counts.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Supervise receiving and dispatching of goods.
• Lead and monitor warehouse staff.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Sales and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, Halal and food safety requirements.
• Prepare procurement, inventory and supplier performance reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
