Job summary

World Prominence Sdn Bhd in Gombak, Selangor is seeking a procurement and warehouse professional to manage sourcing, inventory and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.

The role requires coordinating with Production, QC and Sales, negotiating with suppliers and upholding food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP and Halal.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing raw materials and packaging.
• Ability to manage supplier performance and costs.
• Experience ensuring HACCP, GMP and halal compliance.
• Strong coordination with Production, QC and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers for raw materials, packaging and other supplies
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules
• Plan material requirements and issue Purchase Orders (PO)
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery and material quality
• Manage inventory, including stock-in, stock-out, FIFO/FEFO and stock counts
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Supervise receiving and dispatching of goods
• Lead and monitor warehouse staff
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Sales and other departments
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, Halal and food safety requirements
• Prepare procurement, inventory and supplier performance reports
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance efficiency
