Job summary

TITAN VISTA SDN BHD is seeking a Procurement Assistant to manage sourcing of materials and external providers, raise POs, and ensure on-time deliveries. The role involves maintaining supplier records and coordinating with store and project teams to meet purchasing requirements.

You'll evaluate supplier quotes, monitor performance, and contribute to maintaining the Approved Suppliers List, with emphasis on cost effectiveness and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or vendor management is preferred.
• Ability to source, evaluate and compare supplier quotations.
• Strong record-keeping for purchases, quotations and supplier data.

Responsibilities

• Source materials from suppliers offering fairest quotes.
• Raise purchase orders and follow up deliveries to meet requirements.
• Maintain records of purchases, quotations and supplier information.
• Coordinate delivery arrangements with project/fabrication/store teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and update Approved Suppliers List.

Job description

§ To ensure that all materials and other resources are available when required.

§ To source all materials and other resources from the source that provides the fairest quote.

§ To source, identify, and recommend external providers that meet the criteria of pricing, quality, availability, and delivery

§ To liaise and manage external providers on delivery requirements

§ To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, supplier information, and other documentations

§ To coordinate with project/ fabrication/ store personnel on the delivery arrangement.

§ Raise PO and follow up with external providers for delivery to ensure that the desired materials are received on time and conform to the purchasing requirements.

§ Liaise with the storekeeper on the Stock list update

§ Monitor performance of the external providers, perform evaluation & re-evaluation as per procedure

§ Maintain and update the Approved Suppliers List

§ To undertake and complete, where necessary, duties that are assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
