Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia seeks a Junior Relationship Manager for Priority Banking to manage client portfolios and deepen relationships. You will provide market insights on equities, funds, and other investment instruments while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and robust risk controls.

The role focuses on proactive client engagement, cross-selling integrated financial services, and achieving revenue targets through structured advisory conversations with Priority clients.

Qualifications

• Honours degree (CGPA 3.0 or better) and/or relevant professional qualifications.
• More than 5 years' experience in banking with sales/operations track record.
• Favourable track record in managing sales and/or operations and delivering performance.
• ABM rules / Bank Negara FEA regulations understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage the PB Client portfolio to maximize new business opportunities and deepen relationships.
• Provide market updates and trend analysis on equities, funds and other investments; follow up with clients.
• Ensure compliance with money laundering prevention procedures and CDD; maintain robust controls.
• Meet revenue targets and maintain service standards in line with regulatory requirements.
