Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Division seeks a diligent PM coordinator to manage Preventive Maintenance activities for CVA contracts in Malaysia. You will ensure servicing is completed within the +50-hour window and coordinate with branches to minimize delays.

Responsibilities include scheduling PMs, creating service calls, ordering parts, and invoicing, while supporting business development for PM services across the country. Strong IT skills and fluent English and Bahasa Melayu are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent with 4+ years' relevant experience.
• Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Job description

Coordinate and support branches in managing Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities for all Customer Value Agreement (CVA) contracts, ensuring servicing is completed accurately and within the required +50-hour service window.

Monitor PM due dates and proactively communicate service requirements to branches and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely execution and minimize service delays.

Ensure CVA customers receive scheduled PM servicing in accordance with Caterpillar-recommended maintenance intervals and standards, reducing the risk of unexpected machine breakdowns.

Oversee CVA-related PM operations, including PM scheduling, service call creation and monitoring, parts ordering, job completion, and invoicing to ensure smooth end-to-end execution.

Drive and support business development initiatives related to Preventive Maintenance services within Caterpillar frameworks, working closely with customers and dealer branches across Malaysia.

Support branches in managing PM workloads by coordinating resources, providing guidance, and resolving execution challenges to ensure service commitments are consistently met.

Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution of PM-related issues and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Business Administration or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.

Proficient in IT, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an added advantage.

Good organizational and coordination skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.

Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.
