Arvion is seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer in Petaling Jaya with a strong IT infrastructure and cybersecurity background. You will qualify customer needs, deliver compelling demonstrations, and drive POC-driven proposals to win business.

The role requires 3+ years in IT pre-sales, MFA/network security knowledge, excellent English, and willingness to travel within Klang Valley. A degree in CS/IT is required.

• Prepare BOM, specs, and documentation for RFQs/RFPs/tenders.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for product inquiries.
• Collaborate with partners, sales, and product teams to design customer solutions.
• Address technical concerns and support the sales process with recommended solutions.

Pre-Sales Engineer - Cybersecurity - Petaling Jaya

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join a growing organization in the IT solutions industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.

What Will You Do:

Assist the sales team in qualifying opportunities by assessing customers' technical requirements.

Deliver engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.

Plan and execute Proof of Concept (POC) activities to demonstrate product capabilities.

Conduct technology updates and provide technical recommendations to customers.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), technical specifications, and documentation for RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.

Act as the primary technical resource for customer inquiries relating to product features, specifications, functionality, and integration.

Collaborate with technology partners, internal sales teams, and product teams to design solutions aligned with customer requirements.

Address technical concerns and support the sales process through effective solution recommendations.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar roles.

Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.

Knowledge of multifactor authentication (MFA), network security, and encryption technologies.

Experience conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and POCs.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Possess own transport and be willing to travel within Klang Valley.
