Qualifications

3–10 years in network pre-sales or enterprise networking.
Legal right to work in Malaysia; no visa sponsorship.
Strong knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
Willingness to travel within Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

Lead and support technical pre-sales activities, qualifying sales leads and identifying customer requirements.
Deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Plan and conduct POC activities to demonstrate capabilities.
Provide technical updates and solution recommendations.
Prepare and review BOM for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
Serve as primary technical contact for product features and integration.
Design and recommend enterprise networking solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Collaborate with sales, principals, and product teams on competitive solutions.
Support technical discussions and evaluations throughout the sales cycle.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and trends.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Pre-Sales Manager with 3–10 years of relevant experience to provide technical leadership and pre-sales expertise in enterprise networking solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, technology principals, and customers to understand business requirements, design effective technical solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and support business growth through solution-driven pre-sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support technical pre-sales activities, including qualifying sales leads and identifying customer requirements.
Deliver effective technical presentations, solution proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Plan and conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC) activities to demonstrate solution capabilities and technical feasibility.
Provide technology updates, technical consultation, and solution recommendations to customers.
Prepare and review Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
Design and recommend enterprise networking solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with technology principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to develop competitive and effective solutions.
Support technical discussions, solution evaluations, and customer engagements throughout the sales cycle.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, industry trends, and vendor solutions.

Requirements

Must-have

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
3–10 years of relevant working experience in network pre-sales, solution architecture, or enterprise networking.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
Possess own transport and be willing to travel around Klang Valley.
Proven experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architect roles.
Familiarity with preparing Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
Strong communication, technical presentation, and customer engagement skills.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical networking solutions.
