Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a part-time Barista to join our busy outlet in Selangor. You will prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, take orders, and ensure friendly, efficient service.

You will also handle bakery items, takeaway orders, and operate POS systems with accurate cash handling while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene according to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Education with SPM and above.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role.
• Proficiency in preparing various coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Company recipes and SOPs.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Handle bakery and pastry items, including packing, reheating, displaying, and serving.
• Prepare and pack takeaway, self-collection, and delivery orders accurately.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, POS systems, and other equipment properly.
• Handle cash, card, and e-wallet transactions accurately.
• Restock beverages, bakery items, packaging materials, and other supplies when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, equipment, display area, and outlet.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and Company SOPs at all times.
• Assist with general outlet duties and other tasks assigned by Management when required.
