Clarks in Penang, Simpang Ampat is seeking a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales for footwear products. You will demonstrate products, explain promotions, and maintain visual merchandising standards across the shop floor.

You will identify qualified customers, provide product information, and support stock checks, cashiering, and housekeeping duties. Fluency in English and Malay is required, with Mandarin a plus; prior retail experience is preferred.

Formación

• Educated to SPM level.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin would be a plus.
• Basic knowledge of retail operating environment.
• Retail management and store operation experience.
• Footwear industry knowledge is a plus.
• Basic visual merchandising skills.
• Housekeeping and store upkeep responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate and explain products to persuade customers to purchase.
• Identify interested customers and provide brand/product information.
• Articulate promotions and incentives to educate/persuade purchases.
• Deliver sell-through to meet personal sales targets.
• Perform up-sell and cross-sell when opportunities arise.
• Ensure records of sale via the POS system.
• Replenish shelves and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain tidy store areas and return items to proper locations.
• Provide excellent service to customers and vendors.
• Perform stock checks and counts as instructed.
• Execute visual merchandising guidelines.
• Observe punctuality and grooming standards.
• Ensure store security and report breaches when necessary.
• Address customer feedback/complaints and escalate when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate and explain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products


• Identify interested and qualified customers and provide them with additional brand and product information


• Articulate promotion information, and other incentives to educate/ persuade customers to consider purchasing products


• Deliver sell-through to meet personal sales targets


• Perform up-sell and cross-sell should opportunities arise


• Ensure records of sale via the point-of-sale system


• Replenish shelves with products and ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines


• Perform general housekeeping - keep areas neat while working, and return items to correct locations


• Provide excellent service to customers and vendors


• Perform stock check and stock count on a periodic basis, or as instructed


• Execute visual merchandising guidelines


• Observe punctuality and proper grooming standards


• Ensure security of store environment and report breach, where necessary


• Attend to customers 'feedback/complaint and elevate, where necessary
