Job summary

Click IX Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time, on-site field technician based in Kuala Lumpur. You will monitor digital signage, provide Level 1 client support by phone, email, or remote access, and handle on-site installation and troubleshooting for Windows PCs, Android devices, displays, and basic networks.

Travel to Klang Valley and outstation sites is required. You will log issues, prepare reports, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• SPM or above.
• Willing to travel nationwide incl. overnight stays.
• Valid Malaysian driving licence.
• Basic PC hardware/software knowledge.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft reporting.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Android devices experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor digital signage screens daily and flag offline or faulty units for action.
• Provide L1 support to clients: diagnose, resolve, or elevate reported issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot product range on site, including Windows PCs, Android devices, displays, and basic network connectivity.
• Travel to sites around Klang Valley and outstation for deployments and service calls.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, deployments, and job history.
• Prepare and issue regular operational reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and client contacts to keep jobs moving.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, splitting time roughly evenly between office-based coordination and field work at client sites nationwide. In the office, you will monitor the health of deployed screen networks, respond to alerts, log and track issues through to closure, and prepare daily and monthly reports for clients and management. In the field, you will travel to client outlets, including outstation locations, to install and configure media players and displays, carry out on-site troubleshooting, and complete service documentation. You will also provide Level 1 technical support to clients by phone, email, and remote access.

About you

• SPM or above
• Valid Malaysian driving licence and willingness to travel outstation, including occasional overnight stays
• Working knowledge of PC hardware and software: setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows machines
• Basic networking knowledge (IP settings, routers, connectivity troubleshooting)
• Comfortable working within the Microsoft ecosystem for daily reporting and documentation
• Clear communicator in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Practical problem-solver who can work through an issue on site without step-by-step supervision
• Able to work as part of a small team and adapt as priorities shift
• A certificate, diploma, or degree in IT, electronics, or a related technical field is an advantage but not essential
• Exposure to Android devices is an advantage
