Job summary

Ska Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an ELV Systems Technician in Kuala Lumpur to perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site support for CCTV and PA systems. You will diagnose technical issues and deliver solutions to minimize downtime.

The role requires a diploma or degree in a related field, hands-on technical skills, strong communication, and willingness to travel for project sites and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering/IT field.
• Experience in ELV system installation, maintenance, commissioning or technical services preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
• Able to read technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with customers.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites for on-site work.
• Willing to work outside normal hours or on weekends for projects or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of systems and equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and project teams.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize system downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system performance checks.
• Use diagnostic tools, software, testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist senior engineers in system integration, testing, deployment, and commissioning.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, test results, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Project, Technical, and other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures, safety requirements, technical standards, and applicable regulations.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Experience in system installation of, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, or technical services on the ELV system such as CCTV, Public Address (PA) systems and etc is preferred

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to technical issues

Able to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and documentation

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal professionally with customers

Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team

Willing to travel to project sites and perform on-site technical work when required

Willing to work outside normal working hours or on weekends when required for project or emergency support

Possess a valid Malaysian driving license and willing to travel for work
