Job summary

Leschaco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Bandar Bukit Raja, Selangor, invites applications for an Operations Assistant/Executive Export to support our export operations and ensure the smooth movement of goods across borders.

You will coordinate bookings with carriers, prepare and review shipping documents, liaise with clients and customs, and collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to meet deadlines. A minimum of 2 years in a similar role and strong export knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in export/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures and customs.
• Proficient in IT systems for logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate booking records.
• Coordinate bookings with carriers, agents and clients and monitor shipment schedules.
• Liaise with finance and customs to complete shipments on time.
• Handle full export operations and documents (VGMs, invoicing; FOB/EXW).
• Prepare, review and process shipping docs (BL, invoices, packing list).
• Arrange haulage/trucking, CPC survey, fumigation; prepare export DG/NON-DG notes.
• Prepare forwarding invoices and update cost bookings in ABS.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transport for cargo pickup.
• Provide admin and logistical support to export ops team.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

As an Operations Assistant/Executive Export, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across international borders for our diverse client base. This full-time position is based in our Bandar Bukit Raja Selangor office, where you will be part of a dynamic team supporting Leschaco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.'s export operations.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain accurate Booking records in the milestone report
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, and clients to arrange bookings and monitor shipment schedules
• Liaise with other departments to complete the shipment job within the stipulated times (including finance, Import & customs)
• Able to handle a full set of export operations and documents (including vgm submission, Invoicing), FOB< EXW term arrangement
• Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation ( e.g., bill of lading, Invoices, packing declaration)
• Arrange haulage/ trucking arrangement, CPC survey, fumigation, and prepare shipping notes for export DG / NON-DG
• To prepare the forwarding invoices to customers, including supporting documents, and update all incoming cost bookings to ABS system
• Coordinate with the warehouse and transport team for cargo pickup
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the export operation team
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics industry
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, customs officials, and other stakeholders
• Proficient in using relevant software and IT systems for logistics and customs management
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of documents
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations and last-minute changes
